CUTICLE OIL: Cuticle oil is applied during a manicure to moisturise and nourish the nail and the surrounding skin. It helps to hydrate the skin around the nail to minimise the formation of hangnails, which can be painful and also ruin the aesthetic of the nail.
USE: Cuticle oil is very easy to use: it should be applied to the base of the nail and then massaged in. It is usually part of a manicure routine, but in some cases, more than one daily application is necessary. This is especially true when there are many hangnails and cuts caused by lack of hydration or harsh chemical detergents.
